Am so happy to have found Hove Dental clinic.Like many, work and life and parenting meant my own teeth went on the back burner.It is absolutely testament to Scarlett that I now feel confident to embark on the long overdue hygienist programme to try and get health restored and some confidence back around smiling.I did some research first - and Scarlett gets great reviews. I worked out that now it's perfectly standard to find a great hygienist and make a separate journey there rather than rely on the one at the dentist.Being open on a Saturday is a bit of a godsend too.Scarlett identified what needed doing and gave me a great treatment removing years of plaque and my mouth feels so much brighter and shinier already. Have booked in another two sessions to get back on track and feel extremely positive about the process.Thank you Scarlett, Jessica who works with her - and to the lovely lady on Reception.I was so anxious too - and that's all gone.🙏🙏🙏

The staff are so friendly and I’m always put at ease when I visit. I keep regular hygienist appointments and see the dentist twice a year. Very important for me to keep that up. This practice is really calm and quiet which is a very nice experience.

What a great find! I am always nervous of going to the dentist and felt so at ease with Jenny the Hygienist. She was so kind and patient and did such an incredible job on my teeth. It really lifted my spirits! We drove over from Hastings. It was well worth the trip! Also big thank you to the manager at the front desk. So friendly and helpful as well. Great dental practice!

Dimitri is an absolute Godsend! I have a severe dental phobia and he has been nothing but kind, patient and understanding - I only wish I'd found him years ago! I also had a hygienist appointment with Nathalie, she was absolutely lovely and I will no longer fear the hygienist! This is a wonderful, modern, clean practice, with very friendly reception staff and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend - especially for anxious patients!

I travel a long way to come here - from Seaford to Hove, but it's a wonderful practice so worth the journey. Dimitri is the ultimate professional and is also kind, considerate and reassuring. He has done astounding work on my teeth including root canal, crowns and a bridge, together with a thorough 6-monthly check up. If you want the best in dental treatment please visit him. I assure you - you won't be disappointed.The reception team are unfailingly helpful, polite and friendly too.

A very friendly, welcoming and relaxed experience, which was essential as I'd not been to the dentist for a long time. Registering was easy and I was given explanations of what would happen and what I could expect beforehand and during my consultations with both the dentist and hygienist. My visits to Hove Dental Clinic on Portland Road have always been very good. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming, and the waiting area feels calm and comfortable rather than clinical. Dimitri and his nurses are lovely, and I was really pleased with the filling and advice. Dimitri always takes a few minutes to put me at ease and talk through what I need before starting treatment. I’d happily recommend the clinic.

I had such a positive experience during my dental hygiene appointment. Anastasia, the hygienist, was absolutely amazing. She explained everything so clearly and took the time to make sure I understood each step, which really helped me feel at ease.Holly, the dental nurse, was assisting and was just as kind and supportive throughout. Together, they created such a calm and reassuring environment. As someone who feels quite anxious about dental visits, I really appreciated their patience, gentleness, and the way they continuously checked in on me.Their level of care and professionalism truly stood out, and I felt very well looked after from start to finish. I’m so grateful for their kindness and would highly recommend them, especially to anyone who feels nervous about dental appointments.

Came here for an emergency which unfortunately led to an extraction. For both the initial treatment, and extraction a few days later they were great with a nervous patient, and very good at listening to what would make me more comfortable. The extraction, done by Rik Patel, was quick, painless and left me confident in coming back here for further treatment.

Jenny and Gorgie are absolutely amazing at what they do.very friendly and lovely atmosphere. Very welcoming and nice. Clean. I booked in for a hygienist and it was the best cleaning I've ever got. Thank you so much my teeth look and feel so much better. I never seen such a difference in my teeth by just cleaning. I'm amazed.

Have been with this practice for many and the high standards we have been used to are still in evidence. I saw Jenny one of the hygienists who agreed to treat me despite a medical condition requiring particular care. All good,very happy with the treatment. The reception team are excellent, very polite and friendly. We have come to know Olivia quite well and she takes the time (where possible) to enquire about my particular circumstances.

The hygienists in this practice are amazing. I've seen 2 different people and both were excellent. It's a bit more pricey than average maybe but the level of care and advice are worth it. I have had the new biofilm cleaning which was great and a traditional hygienist clean. The practice is modern and bright and the receptionists are very friendly.

It is the most welcoming surgery with wonderful reception staff, nothing too much trouble. The hygienist Anastasia was so gentle, explaining everything she was about to do. Absolutely thankful that I came to this dental, I had really terrible one and all the dentists and staffs there were extremely friendly, helpful. I was in extreme pain, and they made sure I was ok with every step and thoroughly explained everything, with the best professional service, even squeezed me in when they already got a full day appointments. I didn't have a dentist before but I'm now for sure staying with them, thank you so much!

My son Christopher has learning difficulties and is disabled, so we decided to have him sedated for his teeth to be cleaned as he had a lot of plaque that was impossible to remove He was very anxious, but when he met David he was lovely with Chris and talked him through the whole process. Then he met Scarlett, who was also so lovely to him and reassured him. Throughout the whole process they were both amazing with him and I would thoroughly recommend them both. Chris is now very happy with his clean teeth and if he has to go back for a clean he is not afraid to.

I have been coming to Hove Dental Clinic for nearly 4 years and I have always been extremely happy with the treatment I have received. The premises are beautiful and very well maintained. The reception team are really friendly and very efficient. Dr Dmitri is an exceptional dentist - I feel like he cares about me as a whole person, not just from a dental aspect. He is always very courteous; he clearly explains what the situation with regards to my dental needs and involves me in the discussion about treatment options. Additionally he is very careful in his approach and is meticulous in his work.I would thoroughly recommend this clinic to anyone!

Came to the clinic for an emergency extraction on my son's tooth after our own dentist was unavailable, and had an excellent experience. We got a same day appointment and the dentist - Rachil - was very gentle, explained everything in clear and accessible terms, and really put us at ease. Highly recommended.

I saw Scarlett today for a new patient hygienist appointment at Hove Dental Clinic. She was so patient, kind and thorough with the cleaning and I can honestly say it was my best cleaning experience so far. I am so glad to have found Hove dental. Dimitri, David and Antonia & wider team have been so incredibly patient with me being an extremely anxious patient and for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m in control with my dental care. I am so so grateful to all of the team, the reception team are equally as wonderful, putting up with my anxiety-induced tears/panics and doing their utmost to keep me calm. I was very nervous about getting two fillings but Dimitri and nurse Lauren completely put me at ease today. They worked excellently together and I found the whole experience to be so much better than I imagined. Dimitri explained everything so well beforehand so nothing was unexpected and checked I was ok multiple times. I have always worried about my teeth and being in a dentists chair but feel so comfortable here, I highly recommend!The reception staff are also very lovely and always brilliant.Thank you!

I had a composite bonding done on my front tooth with Dr. Rachil Stafylidou and I’m really happy with the result! It looks great and natural. Dr. Rachil was amazing, very kind, clear, and knowledgeable. She explained everything really well and did a great job! The receptionists were also very kind and friendly. The best hygienist appointment! I had a hygienist appointment with Antonia who was so lovely and explained the whole process, checked in with me regularly to make sure I was comfortable and was so gentle. After having a bad hygienist experience in the past at a different clinic I was very nervous but I had nothing to worry about. Receptionist was lovely too. Will defiantly be returning here.

I am a new patient at the Practice. I moved to Hove 2 years ago and it has taken me this long to build up the courage to visit a dentist( I am very scared).The reception staff are lovely and the surgery is smart and immaculate. I saw Bethany the hygienist and she gave me a really thorough check and clean.I had a check up and filling with Balawal and he was amazing. He was so kind and reassuring and put me at ease. Fantastic team, they explained everything thing so well and made me feel at ease when I could not hold the anxiety and tears back… after a very long complicated dental history my fears were acknowledged and I am still in disbelief that I made it there after so many years with my head in the sand. The reception have also allowed me to communicate and book on line as I find telephones very difficult…. Just fantastic. I have been suffering with tooth pain for ages after another dentist turned me away with an incorrect diagnosis. I am extremely anxious of the dentist and the whole experience was calming and I felt looked after. Extremely lovely reception team, took their time to explain all the treatments available and the cost. A genuine friendly approach to their customers.Used their hygienist (forgot her name, sorry) and she was absolutely lovely. Excellent at explaining the treatment, how to improve on dental health and wasn't afraid to have a laugh in the process. Her approach was so friendly that it relieved a huge amount of anxiety I usually carry when going to the dentist. 10/10 would recommend! (probably the best dental experience I've had in this country)
