Hove Dental Clinic is a welcoming practice with helpful, friendly reception staff who are extremely efficient. The practice itself has a very professional, calming atmosphere. My experience of the preventative care (dental checkups and hygienist) as well as my experience of restorative work has been exceptional. I can highly recommend this dental clinic!

It is the most welcoming surgery with wonderful reception staff, nothing too much trouble. The hygienist Anastasia was so gentle, explaining everything she was about to do. Rachil, the dentist is amazing she makes me feel quite at ease. The whole place is very efficient, well run. Can't praise it enough.

Absolutely thankful that I came to this dental, I had really terrible one and all the dentists and staffs there were extremely friendly, helpful. I was in extreme pain, and they made sure I was ok with every step and thoroughly explained everything, with the best professional service, even squeezed me in when they already got a full day appointments. I didn't have a dentist before but I'm now for sure staying with them, thank you so much!

My son Christopher has learning difficulties and is disabled, so we decided to have him sedated for his teeth to be cleaned as he had a lot of plaque that was impossible to remove He was very anxious, but when he met David he was lovely with Chris and talked him through the whole process. Then he met Scarlett, who was also so lovely to him and reassured him. Throughout the whole process they were both amazing with him and I would thoroughly recommend them both. Chris is now very happy with his clean teeth and if he has to go back for a clean he is not afraid to.

I have been coming to Hove Dental Clinic for nearly 4 years and I have always been extremely happy with the treatment I have received. The premises are beautiful and very well maintained. The reception team are really friendly and very efficient. Dr Dmitri is an exceptional dentist - I feel like he cares about me as a whole person, not just from a dental aspect. He is always very courteous; he clearly explains what the situation with regards to my dental needs and involves me in the discussion about treatment options. Additionally he is very careful in his approach and is meticulous in his work.I would thoroughly recommend this clinic to anyone!

Came to the clinic for an emergency extraction on my son's tooth after our own dentist was unavailable, and had an excellent experience. We got a same day appointment and the dentist - Rachil - was very gentle, explained everything in clear and accessible terms, and really put us at ease. Highly recommended.

I saw Scarlett today for a new patient hygienist appointment at Hove Dental Clinic. She was so patient, kind and thorough with the cleaning and I can honestly say it was my best cleaning experience so far. I left feeling positive that I’d taken a step towards taking better care of my teeth and also received some tips on how to maintain my newly shiny smile. Thank you to her and nurse Lauren, and also to the lovely reception ladies 🫶🪥🦷

I am so glad to have found Hove dental. Dimitri, David and Antonia & wider team have been so incredibly patient with me being an extremely anxious patient and for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m in control with my dental care. I am so so grateful to all of the team, the reception team are equally as wonderful, putting up with my anxiety-induced tears/panics and doing their utmost to keep me calm. As well as all of this which I feel is a dental team that go above and beyond, I’m on the right track now to getting my teeth in a great place, and I only have praise for such a wonderful team.

I had such a positive experience with Scarlett Simson. They were friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease throughout my appointment. I was very nervous about getting two fillings but Dimitri and nurse Lauren completely put me at ease today. They worked excellently together and I found the whole experience to be so much better than I imagined. Dimitri explained everything so well beforehand so nothing was unexpected and checked I was ok multiple times. I have always worried about my teeth and being in a dentists chair but feel so comfortable here, I highly recommend!The reception staff are also very lovely and always brilliant.Thank you!

I had a composite bonding done on my front tooth with Dr. Rachil Stafylidou and I’m really happy with the result! It looks great and natural. Dr. Rachil was amazing, very kind, clear, and knowledgeable. She explained everything really well and did a great job! The receptionists were also very kind and friendly. I highly recommend this clinic and would definitely come back. Thank you all!

The best hygienist appointment! I had a hygienist appointment with Antonia who was so lovely and explained the whole process, checked in with me regularly to make sure I was comfortable and was so gentle. After having a bad hygienist experience in the past at a different clinic I was very nervous but I had nothing to worry about. Receptionist was lovely too. Will defiantly be returning here.

I am a new patient at the Practice. I moved to Hove 2 years ago and it has taken me this long to build up the courage to visit a dentist( I am very scared).The reception staff are lovely and the surgery is smart and immaculate. I saw Bethany the hygienist and she gave me a really thorough check and clean.I had a check up and filling with Balawal and he was amazing. He was so kind and reassuring and put me at ease. He was really gentle and my new filling is incredibly neat. Thank you Balawal!I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the practice.

This is an impressive practice: very nice setting; front desk staff are friendly and professional; hygienist (Bethany) is lovely - approachable, knowledgeable and lacking any of the judgment I've often found within the dental profession.Second time here and will definitely continue - highly recommend.

Amazing first consultation with Dimitri, you feel in safe hands immediately and completely at ease. He explained the treatment needed in detail giving you complete reassurance. The receptionists and dental nurse were friendly and professional and you feel looked after as soon as you walk in. Thankyou.

They are a very friendly team at the Hove Dental clinic. This puts you at your ease especially if you're a bit nervous about visiting the dentist.Any treatment is always explained in advance and discussed so that you know what is needed and why.This practice is highly recommended.

Fantastic team, they explained everything thing so well and made me feel at ease when I could not hold the anxiety and tears back… after a very long complicated dental history my fears were acknowledged and I am still in disbelief that I made it there after so many years with my head in the sand. The reception have also allowed me to communicate and book on line as I find telephones very difficult…. So far so good long way to go but feeling I am with the right team of professionals thank you 🙏

Just fantastic. I have been suffering with tooth pain for ages after another dentist turned me away with an incorrect diagnosis. I am extremely anxious of the dentist and the whole experience was calming and I felt looked after. I can now happily say I am able to go on without the pain anymore and know that 100% this is where I will carry on coming for dentist appointments.

Fantastic dental practice. Have spent a lot of time there over the last year, fixing problems, not least my fear. Everyone has been an absolute pleasure. Friendly and helpful reception staff, the hygienist I’ve seen, Beth, is brilliant, and Rachil, my dentist, has not only fixed my teeth, but has gone a long way to fix my fear. Would absolutely recommend.

Had a fantastic appointment with Dr Rik and Nurse Lauren today for a tooth extraction. I was nervous at the start but they eased me into it and the whole procedure was over before i even knew it.They told me exactly what was going to happen and what to do afterwards, in the end, I had nothing to be worried about!The reception desk were lovely as always, super accommodating and helpful.High recommend!!

I had my first teeth cleaning at the Hove Dental Clinic, and I can highly recommend them. The hygienist Natalie was very pleasant and informative and did the cleaning with as little discomfort as possible. My thanks to her nurse Lauren, who assisted. Great experience at Portland Road branch of Hove Dental Clinic. Friendly reception and Bethany, the hygienist I saw, was brilliant. I haven't been to the dentist in a good few years and she was very reassuring that the experience would be similar to what I had with her. Friendly, honest and clear with what was happening. If you are a nervous patient she will put your mind at ease.

Hove dental clinic has been professional throughout my experience there.Both my hygienist Natalie and dentist Julia have gone above and beyond my own expectations and always shown a thorough care and attention to detail every time I have been there.Olivia and Pam on reception have also been excellent, keeping me in the loop regarding any appointment changes, which are incredibly rare, in a timely fashion and always putting my own needs first.

Our first visit, having moved to Hove recently and searching for a new dentist. We were just hugely impressed. The level of care and attention to detail at our first consultation were excellent. Extremely lovely reception team, took their time to explain all the treatments available and the cost. A genuine friendly approach to their customers.Used their hygienist (forgot her name, sorry) and she was absolutely lovely. Excellent at explaining the treatment, how to improve on dental health and wasn't afraid to have a laugh in the process. Her approach was so friendly that it relieved a huge amount of anxiety I usually carry when going to the dentist. 10/10 would recommend! (probably the best dental experience I've had in this country)
